Grand Iftar Celebration with Power Group Facilities Management Service

The month of Ramadan is a sacred and special time for millions of Muslims around the world. It is a time for spiritual reflection, self-discipline, and acts of charity. One of the most important rituals of Ramadan is the Iftar, the opening of the fast at sunset. Iftar is traditionally a gathering time with family, friends, and the community to share food and fellowship. Recently, many organizations have started hosting Grand Iftar Celebrations to unite people and promote unity and goodwill.

Power Group Facilities Management Services, a leading total facilities management company in the UAE, recently organized a Grand Iftar Celebration event to mark the holy month of Ramadan. The event was held at Millenium Airport Hotel in Dubai on April 8th, 2023. More than 500 people attended the event, including our clients, suppliers, VIP guests, Power Group Facilities Management Services staff, and members. The Power Group IT, Media, and Marketing Team worked tirelessly to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests, with beautiful decorations, delicious food, and traditional Ramadan sweets.

The event began with a recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a welcome speech from the Joint MD of Power Group Facilities Management Services, Mr. Mohamed Amirkhan. He spoke about the significance of Ramadan and the importance of community and solidarity in these challenging times. He emphasized the company’s commitment to giving back to the community and supporting charitable causes.

After the speech, the guests were invited to open their fast with dates and water, in keeping with the traditions of Ramadan. The main course was a sumptuous buffet of Middle Eastern and international cuisine, with something to suit every taste. The food was prepared by a team of expert chefs who carefully selected the finest ingredients to create a feast for the senses.

Throughout the evening, guests were entertained by traditional music, amazing performances by Acrobats and Egyptian folk dancers, and a mesmerizing whirling dervish show. There were also activities for children, a 360 photo booth, giveaways, quiz games, bingo games, acrobat tanoura dance, etc. The atmosphere was electric, with people of all ages and backgrounds coming together to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan.

As the night drew to a close, Dr Mohamed Jahir Hussain, the Managing Director and Vice Chairman of Power Group Facilities Management Services, shared the news of the upcoming Power 2.0, which is all about digital transformation, and that Power Group Facilities Management Services is now a Total Facilities Management (TFM) solution provider. He spoke about embracing change with digitization and adapting to advanced facilities management software and technologies that reduce human intervention.
